Seeking a New Pastor

On Wednesday Night, August 24th, at 6:30pm, we will study about the search for a new pastor. This will be my last Wednesday Night Bible Study as Pastor of Northlake Baptist Church. The task of seeking for a new pastor has already begun. Northlake has appointed a Pastor Search Team and chosen a Transitional Interim Pastor – Dr. Jim Austin. When churches are seeking a New Pastor, Jesus encouraged us to “ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you(Mat 7:7). So I also encourage you to pray for the next pastor who will lead Northlake. Also, pray for the Pastor Search Team who has the responsibility of praying, reading, discerning, and sorting through many applications and applicants to find the next pastor for this church.

     And that will be our Wednesday Night Questions of the Week which will help you pray for our Pastor Search Team: What is the description or profile of a Good and Godly Pastor? What do we look for? How will we know when we have found “God’s Will” for the next pastor of Northlake Baptist church?
