All of our middle and high school guys are invited to join us on October 21-22 for MANTREAT at The Retreat at Long Mountain! Mantreat is a weekend to learn what it means to be a man of God through worship, small groups, and breakouts.
The cost is $60 (Sept 6 – Oct 4); $75 (Oct 5 – Oct 11). Click HERE to register.

Breakout Options:
1 - Archery - In this breakout, you will learn the basics of how to shoot a bow and arrow. You’ll practice shooting compound bows at animal targets.
2 - Art of Knives - In this breakout, you will learn the basics of knife care, practice throwing knives at targets and learn the art of how to forge a knife.
3 - Fishing - In this breakout, you will learn the basics of tying hooks, casting and catching fish. The pond at the retreat center is stocked with bass, bream, catfish and carp and will provide lots of fun.
4 - Rifles - In this breakout, you will learn several gun safety tips, how guns work, how to use them safely and practice shooting different types of guns. This breakout provides a one to one adult/student ratio to ensure safety measures.
5 - Welding/Construction - In this breakout, we will teach boys how to properly and safely use tools and welders. This year we will review and provide instruction on basic welding components.
6 - Wood Splitting - In this breakout, you will learn the helpful skill of how to split wood with an ax. Each swing grows another hair on your chest.
7 - Survival 101 - In this breakout, you will learn practical survival tips and techniques (knot tying, how to start a fire, etc).
8 - Self Defense - In this breakout, you will learn some basic tips on self-defense and what to do if you ever find yourself in a situation that would require you to defend yourself.
